Welcoming a newborn into the world is such a magical time. It is such a memorable and emotional time, that it will make you want to press pause some days and savour every second in awe at the tiny human you have created together.
Sadly we can’t press pause and before you know it the newborn stage is over and you can’t believe how big they are getting. Which is why I love to capture all the details, that over time you may forget.
All the babies that I am lucky enough to capture are treated with the same love and care that I would treat my own. I am here to give you the experience and photography style that is completely unique to me and one you won’t find anywhere else on the coast.

the studio.
When you arrive, you will be welcomed into my second home, my studio. Located in Bli Bli, a central town on the Sunshine Coast, I have built this space to offer my clients the most comfortable and elegant space for them to relax in during their session. With a fridge full of tasty drinks, a snack bar and treats to keep you going. You will love it!
the session.
I have over a decade of experience in photographing newborns. This should give you the confidence that I will deliver a gallery that you see from my portfolio. Nothing will phase me. An unsettled baby, no problem, I will give you tips on how to settle them. I want you to walk away having had the best time. I am here for the laughs and good chat and I promise to make you feel at ease. I reckon by the time you leave we will be friends and I know I will see you again!
the wardrobe.
With so many dresses to choose from, you don’t need to buy anything for your session. I have designer dresses that you would never consider buying for a shoot. But you will want to wear one of these. Most fit all sizes, but I have something for everyone. You will want to be borrowing one of the dresses. Not only that I have the cutest knits and wraps for your newborn. You really only need to bring yourselves and I will dress you!
the process.
Your newborn photography session could take 2 to 3 hours, depending on your package and if you have siblings. Once we are done, you will receive your gallery about 48 hours later (Friday’s gallery will be delivered Monday). The link for the gallery will be emailed over to you and you will get to view it in the comfort of your own home. You will get 72 hours to choose your images, with the option to buy more if, like most of my clients, can never choose and buy the whole lot!

In-home sessions are possible but incur an additional $350 travel/set-up fee.

MONDAY MINIS
With the rising cost of living, I know many families are struggling, and photography is a luxury service. So, with this in mind, I want to offer a mini session so you can have the luxury service at a low price point.
Every Monday will now be ready for you to come along for a 30-minute studio with prices that even your husband won’t complain about ;-)
MINI FAMILY - $100 session fee - newborn baby up to 12 weeks & parents
MINI NEWBORN - $100 session fee - babies up to 4 weeks.
MINI MOTHERHOOD - $50 session fee - babies from 8 weeks & onwards
Packages are purchased after the session.

This is for the new family who want a few images to celebrate the arrival of their first baby.
30 minutes of cuddling your baby and showing the love between you all. The newborn is wrapped and cosy and held by the parents at all times.

You only want a few images of your baby but can't afford the full session, and you don't feel ready to get in front of the camera. That is no problem.
With the 30-minute mini-session, I will capture your baby on the beanbag while you sit back and relax.

Let's celebrate your journey together. Capturing moments that are short-lived and yet so special. Just you and your baby together. For babies 8 weeks and up. Max 4 children & mother.

the process.

You are best to book in around your 20 weeks scan. You will receive detailed guidance from me about your session, with wardrobe choices and how to prepare your newborn. There is no need to bring anything with your, unless you have some heirloom or something sentimental to use in a photo. I have such a beautiful collection of knitted outfits, wraps and blankets that you really don’t need to bring anything. I even supply nappies, dummies, wipes and of course my delicious snacks and drinks!
01. Booking & preparation

I treat my newborns with care and gentleness ensuring your baby will be safe with me. These sessions can take a few hours as we need time to feed and settle and certainly not a process we wish to rush. I want you to feel calm and comfortable during the session, and have confidence that the images which you have seen for others are now being created especially for you.
02. Session

After your session your gallery will be delivered to you online no more than 72 hours later.
03. Photo delivery

Once you have received your gallery, choose your digitals, prints and any frames or albums to hang on your walls.

Ideally, newborn sessions are best when the baby is 5-14 days old, as they are usually sleepier and more cooperative during this time. That being said I can do newborns up to 4/5 weeks of age, even older. But to get the curly, sleepy shots it is best sooner than later.

Yes, I encourage including family members and siblings in the session. It's a wonderful way to capture the connection between you all.

Newborn sessions usually last 1.5 - 2 hours if it your first baby. When siblings are involved the process can take longer.

While most newborn sessions take place in my studio, I can do outdoor sessions on the Sunshine Coast, weather permitting.

Don't worry! I am incredibly patient and have 12 years experience in working with newborns. From time to time a newborn will fuss. Your baby’s comfort is very important to me. But I always get through it and you will never be disappointed.

You will typically receive your fully edited images about 72 hours after your session.

Yes, I offer high quality of print and product for your home. It is important to me that you have high quality products for your high quality images.

Safety and hygiene are my top priority. I handle your newborn love with care and maintain a clean and sanitised studio environment.

Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected. So I am very flexible. Newborns being overdue or early, sickness, car broke down...whatever the reason we will move your session to another date. I don't do refunds. But happy to reschedule.

I have the most stunning client wardrobe for you to take advantage of. I have plenty to fit all shapes and sizes and takes away the headache thinking and buying an outfit that you most likely won’t wear again. The clothes play such a huge part in the creativity of your photos, that I ensure they make you look and feel incredible.

I do. I know how life is getting more expensive these days. So I can split your payments in 2, 3 or 4 instalments. As long as the full amount is received by the time we do the session.

No, I won't do that I am afraid. Out of respect to the other photographer, I would not want to copy their work. I have been doing this for over 10 years now. Seen trends come and go. But my style is unique and all mine. I come up with lots of poses in my own style and wrap the babies which is unique to me. I am happy to gather ideas together to come up with something special for you. But it is a no to copying.
